Meet Our Smile Team

Connie

Connie has 12 years experience in the dental field and started with United Smile Centres in 2018 as our front office coordinator in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Patients are often thankful for Connie's expertise as a patient advocate in dental insurance matters as she simplifies this confusing process to give our patients peace of mind and the most pleasant dental experience possible when they leave our office.

Christy

Christy is a 23 year veteran of the United States Air Force where she served as an anesthesia technician. Christy has been with United Smile Centres since 2002 where, prior to her work for us, she lived and worked in many parts of the United States and abroad. Her unique background and expertise in I.V. sedation make Christy a favorite among many of our patients.

Amy

Amy has over 20 years experience in patient care and is a certified nursing assistant who has been with United Smile Centres since 2006. Amy started her career as an emergency department technician at the University of Louisville Hospital. Amy is a certified instructor in Basic life support (BLS) and CPR and she works with our I.V. sedation patients to make them comfortable prior to their procedure. Patients describe Amy as young at heart and she enjoys going to college basketball and football games.

Sheila

Sheila is native to Kentucky and as our front desk receptionist, she is the smile behind United Smile Centres. Sheila has 15 years of experience in the dental field and has been with United Smile Centres since 2006. Patients love interacting with Sheila prior to seeing their doctor as she brings out the best in everyone and makes everyone feel welcome.

Verena

Verena was born in Germany and lived in Austria’s wine country before coming to the United States. With over 20 years experience in dental laboratory technology and chair side assisting, Verena has the confidence and personality that patients find reassuring, and like many Germans, she is a perfectionist. Verena started with United Smile Centres in 2018 and has quickly become part of the family.

Kelly

Kelly has been with United Smile Centres since 2006 and has 30 years experience in the dental field. She is native to Louisville and did her clinical training at the University of Louisville Dental School. Kelly is certified as an expanded duty dental assistant (EDDA) and coordinates care with our referring dentists and dental laboratories to provide the best possible experience for our patients.

Kimberly (Kim)

United Smile Centres is proud to have Kimberly (Kim) on our team as of 2015. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Academy of Dental Assisting and has worked with the Army National Guard as well as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Periodontics Departments at the University of Kentucky. Kim has 14 years of experience in the dental field and has I.V. sedation certification as well as certification as an expanded duty dental assistant (EDDA). Patients find her personality to be both reassuring and comforting prior to a procedure.

Jacquie

Jacquie started her dental career in Atlanta, Georgia in 1984 and has been a surgical assistant with United Smile Centres for 18 years. Patients love interacting with Jacquie before a procedure because she can make even the most nervous patient laugh out loud.
